I disembarked the Carnival Splendor and spent 6 days in Singapore on October 30, 2019. I have to say I really love and enjoyed my 5 night stay here post cruise. Gardens by the Bay is not to be missed, well worth the time and money to see the different floral and other exhibits there. Took the HOHO bus around the city, Chinatown, Little India, etc. Went to the Merlion, Marina Bay Sands Hotel, up to the Marina Sky Park Observation Deck on the 56th floor. You cannot access the restaurants and swimming pools up there unless you’re a registered guest. You have fantastic views of the city and the entire Gardens by the Bay Park from up there as well as the waterfront and cruise terminal. There’s refreshments up on the observation deck, I bought a Coca Cola and beer for SG$19. The view is worth the admission price. Pictures purchases are very expensive. This is one of my favorite cities in the World.

This was our last port and we spent 4 days here !! Amazingly clean and so easy to get around. Some things were cheap , others surprisingly expensive ( glass of ice and can of Coke $9:95 ) . So much to see your really need more than a few days - highlights were Sentosa Island, Universal Studios and Marina Bay Sands .

Great port facilities. What an an amazing city, we bought a 2 day hop on hop off bus pass and it was excellent. We stayed at Hotel G which served a great breakfast and was close to all transit. The city is a delight to the senses, we did the Botanical Gardens, (fabulous), the Singapore Flyer, river cruise, Marina Bay Sands, Little India, walked around the area in the cooler evening. It’s a beautiful clean city with millions of trees. It’s quite a bit more expensive than some of the places we have visited, but we will definitel go back.

We took an interesting tour of the Gardens by the Bay & Marina Bay Observation Deck. The gardens were stunning with a large collection of rare plants under a huge dome. The Flower Dome, our next stop, was another beauty to behold. Finally we visited the Cloud Forest with its 115-foot mountain & the world's largest waterfall. We then headed over to the Marina Sands Observation Deck for a spectacular view of Singapore - not to be missed. We had a perfectly clear day to enjoy the view. Our tour ended with a enjoyable riverboat ride along the Singapore River. Although I have taken this ride at least twice previously, it was still a wonderful part of the tour. On our way back to the ship, we left the tour at Chinatown and browsed the shops for several hours making several purchases. Chinese tea is a nice purchase for friends or family back home. The cab ride back to the ship cost $10 USD. The following day we took a 4-hour trip to Jurong Bird Paradise. I wished that we had more time to spend here. Enjoyed seeing all the macaws, flamingos, penguins and many more birds and other animals. A tram takes you around the park.

One of my favourite places. I’ve been here before, on and post a cruise. There is so much to do, Gardens by the Bay, RIver Safari, Sentosa Island, especially the free pirate ship water playground and down hill carting. Only issue, it’s expensive. I watched it become more so over the last ten years. Still worth the cost.
