Great diving and snorkeling - must do the snorkeling through the tour as it is not great snorkeling right off the beach. The beach is very rocky not a white soft sand beach. Beware of the wild dogs on the island!

The water was great. Don't forget reef shoes. Most beaches are rough coral for 1-2 meters from the water's edge and beach.

We found a taxi driver who for $10.00 PP/RT took us to the village, The Gauguin Pearl Farm (A MUST) and then left my husband and I on the beach while he drove the other passengers back to the ship. He then picked us up as arranged 45 minutes later. Beautiful coral and colorful clams in the water. English speakers plentiful.

Beautiful, especially for the snorklers. Really untouched locale and gorgeous spot to come in. You can see to the bottom at the dock.

Did a one hour snorkel tour at coral garden. Visited Josephine's and watched Drift snorkelers in Tripura pass. Not much else to do I’m Rangiroa.
