We did not stray far from the city center but there was a lot to see and enjoy in the area. We had a few meals and they were all very good.

Port Louis waterfront modern and excellent but the remaining part of the city very poor. Excursion to Ille De Neuf Paradise Island a total waste of time building trucks on site facilities for changing etc third world food in the buffet had flys all over it we asked and got our money back from the excursion desk very disappointed

What can I say? We were quarantined by local authorities as they feared cholera - tests were done but came back negative for cholera while we sat for two days quarantined on board. I really felt for the crew! What they had to endure was nightmarish. Anyway we eventually were allowed to dock and spent 4 wonderful days at our hotel before flying home. Sadly our children and grandchildren missed their two days with us post cruise as they had to fly home but at least had the morning to enjoy at the hotel.

We stayed in Mauritius pre cruise. NCL docked in area without any facilities

We took a taxi, who drove u's to different places for 35€ per persoon' we saw Jardin de Pamplemousse, sacred big Bassin and many other places worthwhile. The taxidriver did an excellent job, and we loved the island.
