Did not do an excursion. got straight in a Tuk tuk to see some friends at a Bar. Downside was we didn’t know we had to tender to get off the boat and waited roughly 2 hours before we could get on a small boat to take us to shore.

Don't bother getting off to spend time on the island - roads are clogged, traffic was awful, Patong Beach is busy and sleazy. Had an excursion to Duangjit Resort in Patong which was OK - not great - but a relief after walking around Patong. Maybe head out to Phi Phi and go snorkeling instead which we wished we'd done instead.

Loved seeing James Bond island. The boat for the excursion was not safe. We were asked to take another boat back because the boat was overloaded. They stopped at a shopping place on the water that was just a waste of time.

By this point we were only doing shuttles into the cities or towns. We enjoy walking the streets but it is often to really learn about the area without a guided tour.

We went to Rawai beach, south east of Puckett, cheap and nice meals along the coast. We took a taxi. Went to the Patong city at night time to see the lights, this was near the port.

Green Elephant Sanctuary was amazing! Wish we could have stayed two days. So much to see in Thailand

Speed boat ride to James Bond Island was great and the surrounding area is beautiful and a a must see!
