My favorite of all. Went through the tunnels. What an overwhelming experience. Learned so much about our history & how creative the Vietnamese were. They endured so much and still welcome us into their country. Saw the war museum and a few other sites. Lani was the best guide & person I have ever encountered. A truly special lady.

Highlight was the monks and nuns monastery. Not endless rice fields and a visit to someone’s house to see how they live was weird.rubber tree plantation was not much either. Tour was called glimpse of the country side.

90 minute drive to Ho Chi Minh City but well worth it. If you go to the war museum be prepared to have your senses assaulted and probably leave quite disturbed.

We didn't go into Ho Chi Minh as had been before so there wasn't much else to do- we were happy staying on the ship.
