As we were there earlier now we walked to the newly rebuilt Fort, from where the view was amazing. Walking on the seaside promenade is also very nice.

Not a lot to see here. Visited a mosque but couldn’t go inside. Then went to a souk..very busy. As our guide said “everything on sale is made in China” so didn’t bother buying anything.

Did not book any excursions with Celebrity or other. Went into Muscat on our own. Walked along the waterfront, visited the souq. The city has a beautiful coastline.

in general the ship tours were very well organized and gave you a great overview of the area. also the fish markets were interesting to see.

boring forts and museums made up most of the shore excursion.

Really not much to see and do on the ship tour excursion walking tour that went 6 blocks. It was not described in detail and started with an hour in the fish market, I could not enter the market because of severe allergy to, raw fish and would not have booked This tour had I known about this stop. We did see a small museum that was pleasant and then taken to, the Souk that is really all for tourists.
