WE loved this port. It had a European flavor with Middle Eastern architecture. Very charming waterfront and local market.

A must see. MSC charges you for a shuttle but you can get a free shuttle. We did the Big bus here the first day and the second day we took a cab to the mosque. I highly recommend Hamood he will give you a great tour of Muscat. This is his number 096892171079

Don;t book a trip just walk but carry a fridge if possible, the hottest place I have ever been.

Very clean country and nice town to walk around and eat or shop. We have been there before so we just walked around town, did a little shopping in the Suk and ate lunch.

Grand Mosque - ensure every inch of you is covered if a woman!! Souk - cheaper than Dubai Palace - not impressive
