We took Celebrity's guided tour of Monte Carlo. It was well done and gave us fabulous views, photo ops, entrance to the casino, and an informative guided tour experience.

Always a favorite. Easy to do a quick overview of Monte Carlo in a few hours. We had such a luxurious amount of time in port I hired a private guide to take us to Eze for lunch and a walk around the village and then to St. Paul de Vence for another walk around this ancient village. This is one of my favorite parts of the world and I was thrilled to share it with my partner and friends.

Take a public bus to Nice. Only E1.5 each way and beautiful ride, Nice is a charming French town. My favorite day of the entire cruise.

stay 2 nights at the 5 star hermitage or hotel de paris. gets you free shuttle and entry to the casino. the hermitage has a pool ,sauna, spa, and fitness center like no other. eat outside the hotel or pay 62 euros for a sandwich.

2nd visit to Monte Carlo, thoroughly fascinated, little tour bus direct from where ship berths first visit small town but lots to see, was great doing the race circuit all be it at a more sedate pace! 2nd visit arrived by tender coach trip to Cannes and Nice, very long journey amazing scenery, Cannes full of pretentious wanna be's walking round with their all important lanyards!! Nice was so much friendlier lovely old town many markets inc great flea market, fantastic sculpture/water fountain park in the middle of town, great cafes to sit outside and people watch, would love to return.

DID NOT GET TO GO BECAUSE OF ROUGH SEAS, BUT THAT IS OK I AGREE WITH SAFETY FIRST AND WERE THRILLED TO SEE MARSEILLE, LOVED THE CITY WITH ALL THE BEAUTIFUL SIGHTS AND STORES WITH MAGNIFICENT ITEMS. THE FRENCH PEOPLE ARE A DELIGHT TO BE AROUND. THEIR TASTE IN DRESS IS AN ENJOYMENT AND INSPIRATION.
