Nice stop. We took a bus tour. Visited the island. Make sure you take your swimming suit and towels when you visit the island. Food was good.

Ask cab driver to take you to one of the resorts in Ixtapa, enjoy the day at the beach, when you want to return ask the cab driver at the front of the hotel to take you back to the boat. We did para sailing there.

We took a right out of the port and walked to a beach! Skip the first beach and cross the bridge, the 2nd beach is better for swimming. The last tender was at 1:00 pm, Sure wish we had more time!

Nice town but apparently has a corrupt police force. Armed soldiers were everywhere to keep tourists safe.
