We visited the shopping areas right off the port. It was a lot of fun haggling with the vendors and we got some great deals!

Nice little fishing village but not much to do if you do not book an excursion. Booked Techotel resort and it was a nice day at the beach. We did open bar but skipped to buffet. not our idea of great food.

Progress it was OK. Still has a long way to go to become a good beach destination and shopping was better priced than other places

For some reason we thought we could be dropped off at the beach, but were were dropped off by the bus at the shopping area! We were so bothered by people trying to sell us stuff that we could not get a good answer on how to get to the beach, we got back on the bus and went back to the ship!

Loved the tour of Dzibilchaltun Mayan Ruins. Its also the shortest bustrip at about 30 minutes or less.

We have always loved Progreso. It gets a bad rap and if more people would explore here they would like to as well. We did the Natural Pool, Wildlife, ruins, beach and lunch. The bus ride wasn't bad at all. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Our tour guide was amazing. Wish I could remember her name. The cenotes were very cool. It was amazing how the dirty water came through the mangroves and came out crystal clear. We also got to swim in them as well. We had seen the ruins once before and it never gets old. We got a indept history lesson about that area. Then we were off to the beach. The buffet was very good. We have read reviews about the food being horrible but this wasn't the case for us. We loved it. Would recommend doing this one as well.

Progresso it’s OK we usually get off the ship to find souvenirs for the family. They have great prices and people are friendly.
