This is an under developed port. We did the Mayan Ruins and Mexican Fiesta excursion which consisted of walking among Mayan ruins for about an hour, and then visiting a ranch were we had an all you can eat Mexican buffet which included all the beer, margaritas and soda you could drink, which was followed by a horse show with singing and dancing. This is a great option if you want to see ruins and get feel for Mexican culture. Mary, our guide was very informative. MAYAN RUINS WITH MEXICAN FIESTA &TRADITIONAL LUNCH

We did All Inclusive Reef Hotel. It's amazing. Good food and service. Lots of shells. Alexandro with GUSTO is awesome! The water on this trip was very pretty, more turquoise than green. This was my second time to do this excursion.

This is a much less touristy part of Mexico. We did the Dzibilchaltun ruins. While the site was amazing, we didn't have much time there. The bus ride to the site was 45 minutes where the guide provided good information about the Mayan and Spanish history of the Yucatán peninsula, but by the time we got to the ruins we only had 2 hours to see everything. We didn't even have time to eat lunch, so we were starving by the time we got back to the ship.
