We really like Progreso. We usually just walk around the market and eat the street food. We have done a private tour where we went to the Mayan ruins, salt flats and toured the country side.

Not a lot of things to do if one cannot walk a lot. We did not do an excursion. The vendors were very insistant and pushy.

We did the private beach at kokomo beach excursion with free food and drinks. Was great and it allowed us to avoid the pushy vendors.
