free lovely beach, free shuttle service to town, lots of vendors and local persona selling handmade clothing, decorations and unique goods. Inexpensive massges on the beach. Friendly people

we took the tour to chitchen itza, which is highly recommended for people interested in culture, but definately not for children, due to the long bus drive (2 1/2 hours to get to the site and of course the same time back), the heat and not having the possibility to do another tour.
