My wife and I expected it to be beautiful, while we were walking through Progreso we seen many things that made us wish we were back home. If I was to take a cruise and Progreso was part of the cruise I wouldn't even exit the ship.

Does not offer much. We go into town for the 1 hour massage for $15. Beware. Prices vary depending on place of service and how many ships in port.

Really good bargains in town square, but watch out for some clothing items, Tags say made in India, but vendors insist they really are made in Mexico.. Beach front bars under the tatch roofs are fun.
