Did not book anything through the ship. Many options easily accessible off the ship.

A pleasant surprise. Would like to have spent more time on their malecon (beach walkway). Fun stop to see cliff divers. Excursion started off slow with well intentioned stops by a flower shop, shrimp shop, tortilla shop where the narrator got off to show us samples but spent a little too much time. The rest of the time driving and finally stopping in the boardwalk made up for the slow start. Looks like a fun destination to stay for a few days.

Loved Mazatlan

We got a taxi outside the cruise terminal to be transported to El Faro, the lighthouse hike. It was hot and humid, but it was beautiful and well worth the effort! Flora (flowers, vines, and crazy cacti) and fauna (butterflies, iguanas, birds, and feral cats) galore! Easy to get a taxi ride back to the cruise terminal. We did not explore further.

City tour & cliff diving. Tour guide was knowledgeable but not much a site seeing your as just a ride. Cliff diver was ok, but all over you for money & several times.
