Commercial area in port was the highlight. Spending opportunities for both food/drink and chachkeys. Another snorkel tour, sub par. Open skiff for about 45 minutes. Cloudy water off a beach, not many fish. Highlight was circling a light station filled with birds and sea lions. Spent about two hours on a deserted beach where we had lunch. Very relaxing.

If I go to La Paz again, I would definitely do an excursion. We wandered the town a bit, but the biggest attraction seemed to be the bars. We did enjoy the young people dancing in the square though!

We were in La Paz on Sunday, so we chose to attend Church services. The people were very warm and friendly. It was a great experience.

Drive from the ship to La Paz is interesting (Sea of Cortez butted up against the desert coast!). Shore excursion (Artisans Tour) was very disappointing.

You catch a free shuttle from the ship to La Paz which takes 30 minutes and drops you at the malecon. We ate at Claro Fish and the menu is in pesos

Didn't see much of this town. Ask about stinging jelly fish migration pattern before Snorkeling with Sea Lions in La Paz. Also, ladder for climbing back onto the snorkeling boat was VERY short and VERY difficult for this somewhat overweight senior (65) to negotiate. injured 1 leg and ankle, shoulder (badly), and both thumbs when boat bounced on a wave while trying to connect with short ladder.

We did the ships excursion to the Sea Lion Island. Dress with layers and sun protection. It was a long day, the weather was nice, but the week before they said the water was rough.
