Whales All Over the Place!

Sail Date: February 08, 2008

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Room Type: Oceanview

Spotlessly clean. Good Customer Service.

Pros: Whales in Cabo San Lucas

Cons: Shore Excursion in La Paz

Recommends Carnival Elation? Yes!

Ensenada, Mexico
Shore excursion that takes you to Santo Tomas winery is excellent. Shopping was good (and cheaper than other ports)
Don't Miss: Civic/Cultural Center
La Paz, Mexico
Drive from the ship to La Paz is interesting (Sea of Cortez butted up against the desert coast!). Shore excursion (Artisans Tour) was very disappointing.
Don't Miss: Orientation type tour
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
The "Office" (restaurant right on the beach) San Jose Del Cabo Glass Blowing Factory
Don't Miss: Whale Watching Feb-April
