Took a cheap 10 minute cab ride to Playa del Carmen where we shopped and had lunch at the Blue Parrot, which is on the beach. Lunch was great and the Blue Parrot also rents beach chairs and umbrellas, so we spent the afternoon at their wonderful beach.

Loved the horsebackriding. Hated that they only offered the horsebackriding and the Mayan Ruins from the same port at the same time so we could not possibly do both on this cruise.

It downpoured the entire time. We tried to power snorkel, but some of the machines were malfunctioning and the water was cloudy because of the weather. The weather, of course, cannot be controlled so we made the best of it.

Complete waste of time. Do not go on the Cavern Jeep excursion not fun except for last stop at the beach. Did more driving on the highway than JEEP riding.

The number of things to do listed for the port gave great variety. Would have liked more time to spend at Tulum and Xel-Ha.
