Cabo San Lucas, Mexico Port Reviews

First of all, I would have preferred a longer day for Cabo. There are far more activities I would have enjoyed doing and away from all the vendors and noise by the boardwalk. Great city with warm waters and plenty of locations to eat or shop.

We took a water taxi to the arches and the got dropped off at Pelican Rock to snorkel for a couple hours. The water was clear and the fish were colorful and beautiful. Remember to bring your own snorkeling gear if you don't want to book an excursion

We love Cabo but because of the time there we did not get off. You really need to think of extending the hours. The bars are not open at 700 in the morning and alot of shopping is closed. We don't get it. too sad.

Pushy vendors when you get off in port. Once you get past those, it was nice

Saw some whales as we were pulling into Cabo, so be on the lookout for them if coming here during whale season!

Went on a sailboat whale watching excursion. Saw a lot of activity and whales breaching, etc. Great tour

Best part of Cabo was buying jewelry at Silver Exposure!

This port is unable or very difficult to visit by handicapped (wheelchair) persons

A place I'd definitely like to come and stay for awhile! Very clean, bright. We did not do a tour here. The tenders did a great job transporting people to/from the ship. However, our tender taking us to shore solicited us for tips, which I thought was inappropriate. Tenders were the only way to get to shore and they were paid by the cruise line - this wasn't a private transport that we requested, like a taxi.

Beautiful harbor/anchorage which requires a shuttle to the dock. 20 minute walk to beatufil Playa Empacadora. I heard that the whale watching excursion was great. Luckily, we saw whales fluking from our veranda about 30 minutes after weighing achor outside Los Arcos.
