The whale watching trip on the double decker, motorized catamaran was exciting. We saw 2 different type of whales. The sea was a little rough, but the boat was large enough that it handled it well. The crew delivered drinks and snacks to you so that you did not have to divert your attention from whale watching.

I loved this port, as it was pure Mexico, that I love. I even saw many sea lions, one up real close begging for fish, with some pelicans chilling by. I needed some deodorant and allergy pills (which Bliss did not have), and was glad I found a small shop that had what I needed. El Arco was cool and we even saw whales jumping out the water. I just wished we could under the arc, but I understand why we couldn't. I did wish I had chosen a longer excursion that allowed us to get off the boat and get closer to the sea lions and beaches though. But, oh well – next time.

This was a water port, so had to use smaller boats to get to port. We had an extremely enjoyable dolphin encounter excursion, which included seeing camels and a camel ride, The dolphins were great. We also did a glass bottom boat tour-- the scenery was great, but not much of a sealife view as there were only two rectangular windows for viewing under the best.
