FABULOUS! FABULOU! FABULOUS!!! THIS is the place we will return to spend more time in the future!!! We went on the excursion that took you to all the movie locations that we filmed here - VERY INTERESTING and FABULOUS LUNCH!!! It is extremely well done - couldn't have been happier. Probably the best island sightseeing tour we went on. Just sights, not any shops! That said, shops = souvenirs and bathroom breaks!

We renewed our vows for our 15th Anniversary at Puu Poa Beach at Sunset and ate dinner with family staying on Kauai at The Lighthouse Bistro!

We took a taxi to the Hailohana Plantation and rode the train. It was most interesting. The other half day in Kauai we saw the Koi fish garden at the Marriott Hotel since it was suggested by the shuttle driver going to the shopping area.

We rented a scooter from the Island, and had a great time on our own tour. Next time, we will rent a car, as that scooter ride was a bit too much for our old person bodies.

Rented a car here as well, and ran up to Waimea Canyon. Beautiful place! Then headed down to Poipu Beach to do some snorkeling. Beautiful water and lots of fish to see!

We hired a private driver and toured the island. This island is less crowded and not as many tourists. The waterfalls are beautiful.

Love this place. As with Kona there is a beach and some shopping within a short walking distance. Hop on/Hop off buses as well. Some of our group did the tubing experience that they all really enjoyed and a couple of us just did the Resort for a day since we were coming back to Kauai after our cruise which was when we did the helicopter tour - cannot recommend it highly enough. We got to see Waiema Canyon, Na Pali Coast, waterfalls, fly inside the crafter. Breathtaking & magical. Driving out to Waiema Canyon is also doable on the first day. THe drive up north is nice but not necessarily a must do if you only have this short time to explore.
