Again not much doing at this port. Rented a car and drove to many of the points of interest offered by the ship excursions - Waimea Canyon, Wailua River State Park and drove through the Tree Tunnel

We loved Kauai! It has such a different vibe from the other places we visited. It is more rural and has fewer people. The mountains are lush and there are chickens every place you look! We did not do an excursion from the ship, but rented a jeep to drive around in. We explored the island, saw some waterfalls, and found some hidden beaches.

We did the Kipu Ranch waterfall picnic ATV tour on our own and then had dinner at Duke's. The second day we rented a Jeep and drove to Na'Pali Coast lookout and Waimea Canyon. We stopped at Kauai Coffee on the way back to the ship.

Went to the Kilohana plantation where we got to tour the fruit grounds and got to try all the fruit that was in season (about 9). Then got treated to mai tais and appetizers and got to walk around the grounds. Reminded me of the Biltmore in Asheville NC.

This was by far my favorite. I did the helicopter tour with sunshine helicopters. It was gorgeous, not hurried, and very informative! The island itself is gorgeous, clean (mostly), and the people are very friendly and polite. Absolutely loved Kauai, would go there again!

My favorite spot on the trip. I rented a paddle board and it was fantastic. Very laid back and quiet here. Also some of the best places to take pictures of green scenery.
