We have been there several times. Tendering in was a complete nightmare - couldn't go ashore until the afternoon of the first day (windy). It was a horrible experience tendering on day 2 for EVERYONE.

Very beautiful scenery with nice and plentiful beaches. Touring takes a lot of time in that a lot of the roads are two lane a no Maui drivers don't seem to be in a hurry. Not enough time in port.

On this port we took the Road to Hanna by car, another absolutely beautiful drive with lush green foliage; views of the Pacific from cliffs; waterfalls and surfers! This tour had it all! We downloaded the app “gypsy guide”, which was perfect for leading us to beautiful spots to stop at as well as pointing out highlights and history along the route. I highly recommend this app
