This is a tender port. I was not able to book an excursion due to popularity of this island. If you plan on excursions, book early. We did get to do some shopping, Hilo Hattie's is very popular. Good bloody marys at the Pioneer Inn.

Everything seemed very close to the port and accessible for this stop. We bought a few pieces of art from the market under the banyan trees and then proceeded to tour the “main drag” as it were. This reminded us of a seaside version of Banff, AB for anyone who’s ever been.

Did not get a feel for this island. Did an excursion. Loved, loved, seeing so many whales.

I LOVED THIS DESTINATION. IT WAS GREAT FOR WALKING AND SHOPPING. I DID THE "LUAU OF THE PACIFIC" TOUR WHICH WAS GOOD. THE SHOW WAS EXCELLENT, HOWEVER, THE FOOD WAS OVERRATED AND JUST PASSABLE. I WILL NOT DO A LUAU AGAIN IN HAWAII.

Beautiful, at least here we were closer to the beach, again two days would have been better.

This is a tendering port so it takes longer to get on shore. If you're short on time this is something to consider.

Love Lahaina. Did the Atlantis underwater sub and walked around town.

Favorite stop.. Did a whale watching excursion AND a catamaran sail, which ended up being a whale watching trip because of no wind! Best ever day! Favorite excision!
