We road the Kona Trolley for $2. Road all around town and out the coast a ways. Just get on and don't get off. The trolley will pick you up across the street from the tender port by the banyan tree if you can get there in time for the shuttle it is a great deal and a pleasant ride. You can get off the shuttle a few stops from where you started and walk back thru the town area.

Loved shuttling to shore on the boats. Lovely village with a laid back feel. Great stop. nice swimming & snorkeling beach just as you get off the boat. Great food on shore.

We did a snorkeling tour which turned out to be an issue. The boat that we were on had a captain who liked to go very fast over choppy water. My husband actually got his fingers cut up from having to hold onto a line with the boat bouncing around. The port had a little shopping but not much of anything else.
