Port lacks charm: adjacent to an abandoned sugar cane processing compound. Have to walk about a mile to get to street. Town nearby: strip malls.

Beautiful! We did the sunset crater excursion and had Kama as a tour guide. I’m not sure how to spell his name, but he gets all the praises. He knew and shared so much good information about the island and the mountain and that man could drive his bus. Great time!

Did “Best of Maui” excursion. Decent but didn’t see the resort areas. Second day there, the cruise line unexpectedly changed the time of the excursion to 7;15 am from 11 am. This was not appreciated. The excursion on the Atlantis Submarine was very good however.

whale watching was awesome and amazing time. Went to the beach

We went to the Maui Ocean Center and the Luau the first day. The Luau was great. Over 900 hundred people were there. The service and timliness of the event was incredible. The sunset at the Luau was one of the best. The Ocean Center was great for kids.

Port is in rather seedy area. No tourist areas unless you enjoy the free shuttle to Kmart and Walmat. LAME!!! At least 40 miles from Linai, which is the area to see. They suggest you rent a car. Isn't that why you you went on a cruise in the first place??
