Rainforest Hiking Adventure. Truly magical and beautiful, descent over 300 metres only for agile, but worthy of effort.

Rented a car and drove around. Went to Polo beach and it was wonderful. Could rent umbrellas and chairs there.

We have been here several times and chose not to do a shore excursion. Just went into town and took three bus trips that looped around different parts of Maui and saw the city that way. Our time was our own and we enjoyed it. There are many ways to get into town on ones own and just roam. We took the evening shore excursion up to the crater to see the sunset, which was all very interesting. We were literally in the clouds at over 10,000 feet.

Our balcony faced port and the view was poor. We did our own drive, Road to Hana, which was fun and gave an opportunity to get a sense of the islands. Yet, it didn't meet my expectations. Stopped at 'Momma's Fish House" - very enjoyable, decor in island products and staff very friendly. Food & drinks- delicious

Tons to do here so use time wisely. Sunrise at Haleakala is cool. Biking down is cool but takes away a few hours from other things. Snorkeling at Molikini and Turtle Town was awesome! Swim with thousands of fish, huge turtles and manta rays in super clear deep blue water. You can see clearly down for at least 150 feet. Road to Hana is great if you have time, this is a full day outing. Lots of great stops along the way, but make sure you make it to the Oheo Gulch (seven sacred ponds) and swim and jump from cliffs. Shaved Ice from truck at Waianapanapa State Park are great and so is the park itself. A must stop on the way to Hana.

We did an excursion up to Haleakala. It was amazing! Our tours guide was knowledgeable and helpful. He allowed plenty of time at each stop and provided a great recommendation (Ale House) for lunch Biggest down and reason for the missing star is that the port itself is industrial and there’s not a lot readily available to do close by
