Bought three day Water Bus pass from ACTV from the ticket shop at entrance to the port for 40 Euros. The shop also sells 1 day and 2 days passes. The pass can only be used on ACTV. Make sure the pass is validated before boarding the water bus. There are validating machine at all boarding areas. When leaving the terminal go left away from the people mover across the road there is a bridge not visible from inside the port. Half way across the bridge the ACTV stop can be seen below on the left. The water buses passes about every ten to fifteen minutes. There are a couple of stops before stopping at St. Marks. The route in Line 2 which continues on to other stations, the St. Lucia station and other stations and back to the Maritime Station the Port Area. Water buses lines can be changed at any station. A map of the routes can be picked up at the major stops

OMG. Venice. So much to do and see. We didn't do excursion. Very expensive on the water front but its a once in a lifetime memory. Took gondola ride. About 80 Euro for half hour - truly worth it. Love Venice

Did a Gondola excursion the first afternoon in port. Stayed an extra day in Venice after disembarking the next day so it was well worth it. Spent the entire next day getting lost wandering all around the city. Yes, it's overly crowded and chaotic but there is absolutely no place else like Venice. A definite must-see at least once for everyone.

This is where we disembarked & stayed in Mestre for several days. We took a boat tour of the Venice area the first afternoon which stopped at several small slands. We spent the next day walking around Venice & had a gondola ride. The next day we spent in Mestre & ate at a restaurant (IL Pelco) where our server was also the chef & co-owner. On the last day we flew from Verona on Norwegian Air back to Florida.
