For only one euro, you can take the "People Mover" from the cruise port to the Piazzale Roma in Venice. At this stop, you can access the water bus (city bus) called the Vaporetto.

all of Venice is wonderful and fun to see. my favorite place. Using the Vaporettos and Alilaguna boats were a must for anyone going there.
