This was our favourite port. We rented bikes, which were easily avaiable near the ship; no need to organise it before hand. And we simply explored on our own. Had a wonderful day.

We chose the Medieval Rakvere and Tallinn excursion, it was wonderful. They even had a fabulous four course banquet with beverage that was included and was delicious, and also a vodka tasting. If you are going to purchase the Matryoshka dolls buy them here in Tallinn, they are much cheaper than in St. Petersburg.

Interesting country and an excellent look at post-soviet life and progress. Especially if you have a good guide who is open about the before and after soviet rule.

Possibly best port of call. Old town right off the ship. Easy to see it all cheap and fun.

wonderful well preserved, can walk to everything, but not for anyone with mobility issues, hilly cobblestone streets lots of stairs. do your own walking tour with a download like Rick Steves. Plenty of shops. I love this town
