I would fly here and spend time here. It was beautiful cruise tour was wonderful guides was fantastic. If I could rate it more then 5 stars I would.

It was great to get off the ship after a week at sea. We took an excursion around the part of the island and had a wonderful time. The island is beautiful, but you have to hit the weather right? And we were lucky that the lakes weren't fogged in.

Very interesting port. Did not do an excursion but lunched at a restaurant eating & drinking the local cuisine

Did a whale watching excursion. We did see numerous whales but the seas were so doughnuts it was hard to enjoy it.

Beautiful island and while our tour guide was passionate about her island, there was no provision for bathroom breaks or food breaks. We think she may have been an inexperienced guide. Also, she took us to a town and we saw the outside of a church and she said the church was closed. My wife went in a different tour where they went inside that same church within a half hour of my tour.

This port is lovely and if never visited before be sure to get out of town to see the gorgeous lakes and volcanic areas. Did not take an excursion since this was our 4th visit. Just enjoyed the port area.
