The port is very pretty with many beautiful buildings. I took a very nice tour but the bustling historic area seems compact enough and close enough to the dock to explore on your own.

Bad Hop-On/Hop-Off experience. This was a rainy cold cruise, unusual during the month of May in this part of the world. We caught a hop-on/hop-off bus outside the terminal and do not recommend this type of excursion in Mallorca. The tour was not through the ship and was run poorly - too many people - too few buses, buses not maintained for sound.

We took a bike riding tour that took us to cute back alleys that we would never have discovered on our own! Our only drawback was that there were others signed up that could not handle the quick pace and we were constantly stopping to wait for them. But being our first time we wanted a tour. If I were to go back I would rent bikes that are all over the island for very inexpensive prices. I would get a map and just tour on my own since it’s a very bike friendly city.
