We love Malaga and had spent a week here about 7 years ago. Malaga has received some kind of investment as most of the old town has been spruced up. It's a little too commercial now, but hanging out at the beach and lunching at a chiringuita were both fabulous. It's a great city to just wander. If you like the historic stuff, it is also wonderful and there is a lot to see and do; we had already done it before, and recommend this town.

We did it on our own because you all (NCL) cancelled for no reason but we figured out NCL had charged too little money so were going to lose money...better to cancel than to lose money. We spoke to other passengers who had Malaga cancelled at the VERY last minute and the reason given was lack of interest...ha ha! Another falsehood! There was plenty of interest!

Took the Julia bus into town. Enjoyed walking & shopping on Calle Larios & taking outside pictures of the Cathedral. Really loved exploring for over 3 hours in and around Alcazaba, Teatro Romano, Gibralfaro Castle, Roman Theatre, & Arab Fortress even if it was a lot of walking – both up and down.

We did a non-Disney tapas tour after our Disney hiking tour was cancelled due to weather and everything else was full. The tapas tour was great… Great way to learn about the city while eating! Not enough time to really enjoy the city though.

Lovely Spanish city with many features to enjoy -- the market, the castle, the Roman ruins, the Picasso museum, the cathedral .....
