Had good day exploring the older part of town. Festival was on final day and a great show. Lots to fit in on a first visit. Stayed overnight which was good.

Did not do an excursion here....did the hop on hop off....very disappointed in that in this city. Weather was very cool and very windy. However, did hop off and went to the cathedral....it was amazing. A definite do again.

We docked a little ways from the main terminal this time, so we had to board shuttle buses to get to the exit. From there it was a short walk to the train station, where we had a rental car booked with Avis. We went on our own to Arcos de la Frontera to tour that beautiful old town. Then we did a guided tour of the Lustau Bodega in Jerez. That was excellent. Getting back onboard was a bit of a chore, as we had to wait in a long line with passengers from other ships to get through security at the main terminal. Then when had to wait on a bus to take us back to the ship. This needs work.

Gorgeous city full of blooming trees, flowers and shrubs. We arrived on the day that their Flamingo Fair was happening and loved all the women in Flamingo Dresses all over the city.

Very easy to get too. Once you get into the labyrinth of little streets, in the middle there is a little market and also the Cathedral which is lovely to see. There is a carousel in the square which is reasonably priced for the kids.
