Q: Does anyone just get off the ship and stay in Getxo? Is there anything to do?Or is it best to get the bus to Bilbao? Thanks

A: Been a very long time since I have been but I got the train to Bilbao. It wasn't far from the Port and takes around 15/20 minutes.

A: Yes, it is a scenic port. You can walk along the promenade past architecturally beautiful mansions to Getxo and the UNESCO World Heritage Transporter Bridge (great views from the top). There is a beach area/park and the other direction from the ship... is the old fishing port with good tapas restaurants.See More
