Princess Excursion: The Best of Romsdal & the Troll Path. 8hr. Well planned tour with good timing and great sights. Unfortunately we were markedly weather challenged, see photo, and got poor views ot Trollstigen and Trollveggan.

Snow! In morning. Sun bathing in afternoon. Trip to strandafjell cable car was such an experience, no view at top because of cloud, but all that beautiful snow, like being in a snow globe!

One of our favorite ports due to the Art Nouveau and just great for overall walking, we did a tour to Giske, home of the viking kings with their family church completely intact, and Godoy a neighboring island that is just beautiful and the views make you want to cry.

The morning was rainy so we slept in. I'm glad we did bc the sun came out later and we walked around the town and then hiked up the 418 steps of Mount Aksla. The views were really pretty and by waiting until the afternoon on our own we avoided the bustling ship tours that would have been on the climb. It's free and about a 15min walk from the ship. We stopped at the library right by the ship terminal for some free Wi-Fi before embarking again.

Visited Ålesund before so this time we took a very easy walk into town. Beautiful waterside and array of souvenir shops too.

Unfortunately, we experienced a day of heavy rain, so we couldn’t explore the city for long. However, the Art Deco-style houses are really beautiful and colorful. The streets are calm.
