Started here. Nothing to do. Just get on the ship.

The country is beautiful but again the tour portion was minimal. We had a long drive to get there and then only had about a 45 minute guided tour. Again, what did we pay for – it seems like a bus ride?

I scheduled this cruise and a pre trip to Venice prior to knowing the port had changed. Had a horrible time figuring out easy way for transport. Cost a LOT of money to arrange transport.. had ZERO HELP from cruises.com or Celebrity...still upset...

While we lived this port, Celebrity as in Rome only dropped us off on departures day. We were on our own with lots of luggage to explore on our own. They did help arrange transportation to Venice but it was very expensive to just get a ride.

Our cruise started in Ravenna. The ads indicate Venice. Actually Ravenna is a train ride away from Venice. The train experience was inexpensive, fun and we felt very safe.

Everything seems too far

Visited Ravenna after Venice so a lot of negative comments from others we spoke to but Venice is like no other place so an unfair comparison. We found the mosaics absolutely stunning so were very glad we went into the town from the ship (about 25 minutes coach ride.) A combined ticket for 5 UNESCO World Heritage sites was only €9.50 so good value and easy to walk between the sites.
