Stay on the ship and relax, unless you want to do an excursion somewhere other than Toulon.

Loved their market. Didn’t like the ships 25 Dollar transportation to City took Another way by taking a 20 minute walk to another ferry

Booked a private tour in Provence FR, went to 2 vineyards for wine tasting and then went to a small town called Le Chellet which was so charming and medieval like. Then onto the town of Cassis where we had lunch right on the marina with breathtaking views…. Probably one of our best days as we didn’t feel rushed and we really enjoyed the views.

No excursion but instead explored the city and local stores instead of the tourist traps.

Different feel to other French Riviera resorts. Stumbled across the fresh produce market which was fabulous. Took the mini tourist train which highlighted how little there was to see. Rugby stadium superb.

I wasnt so impressed with this stop. Not really worth the effort we put in to see Marseille. We rented a car and dealt with parking issues and traffic. Marseille was a lot of work. On the way back from Marseille we stopped at Cassis. It was beautiful and made the trip more worth it.
