I booked the tour to end in Barcelona (as did everyone else). I was with 2 other people and we paid a high price for a personal car to meet us and take us to our hotel in Barcelona. Sad to see the great number of guests waiting in an endless line for a taxi.... and very Few taxis arriving one at a time on a Sunday morning in a small town. Norwegian missed on this. They did offer a 30$ transfer to the Barcelona airport which all those people in line would have been wise to take (and take a taxi from there). No Norwegian reps to help passengers who had literally been dropped in a small sleepy town on a Sunday morning.

Tarragona - worst port experience ever. Would not use this port again.

Horrible port, completely unprepared for our embarkation. Chaos, disorganized. Nothing to do there. And note it's NOWHERE near Barcelona itself.

There was no formal cruise port, a tent was set up. As stated above this was where the cruise ended instead of Barcelona as booked.

Barcelona was supposed to be our embarkation port but embarkation was changed to Tarragona. We stayed 2 days in Barcelona, and we enjoyed it.

The embarkment process was not well organized, but it was the first cruise of the season. Im sure in time they will figure it out. The town is very cute and we enjoyed walking to the beach.

One of the worst disembarkation ever. No one seemed to know what was going on. It was cold, I saw many older folks walking around trying to get out of the cold or sit down somewhere. Hours and hours to get a taxi. Port authority would not let people walk off port. Understandable, however the were not equipped to help 100 people let alone 2700.

We arranged for a private car to Barcelona. And we were happy we did as the line for the few available taxis was very long.

When Norwegian changed the last port from Barcelona to Tarragona we were disappointed, but we decided to try to see what we could. Since we couldn't get transportation through the cruise line, we pre-booked a train ticket from Tarragona to Barcelona, and we had planned to explore Tarragona by using their little hop-on hop-off train. We didn't get to do that - as explained below.
