Did an excursion to Gordes and Loumarin, which were alright, but would prefer to skip this port entirely and spend more time in Italy. It's difficult to find an Italy intensive itinerary, but this one was better than most.

Excursion was poor and very expensive.

We enjoyed walking around and taking the Metro to see the sites. Loved lunch in Le Panier.

Nice town. Not overwhelming.

We enjoyed our time in Marseille. We visited Arles and St Remi and saw many places Vincent Van Gogh visited and painted. That was very interesting. It's a beautiful area.

Two excursions - one to Aix en Provence which was delightful although our guide was very difficult to understand. Also did a walking tour of Marseille and our guide was outstanding. Lots of walking and it was worth every step!

On our last port we had a guided tour through the parts of the city of AIX-en-Provence with some time to explore and shop afterwards. From AIX we headed back to the Marseille marina where we enjoyed lunch (burger and real FRENCH fry's) looking over the marina. After lunch we drove by bus around the coast of Marseille and went up to the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde on the hilltop. That was quite a drive for a bus to go through those narrow steep streets but our tour guide said our bus driver was the best tour driver and he proved it.
