Not much to see or do here, we opted for a walk about. Only wanted a drink ashore but very hard as they wanted us to have food.

Not that it's Marseilles fault, but we ported on armistice day, so everything was closed.

We have been to Marseille before. We took the 10 min walk outside the port by following the green path. We got the free port shuttle into town.

We took a taxi to the Old Port and walked around. Had French pastries, explored several churches and explored St Jean Fort. The fort was beautiful and very interesting. We had a lovely lunch along the street close to the water.

Did not get off boat. It was a mile to the bus stop and my husband was too tired.

Toured Marseille and Cassis. Tour through Cruiseline.com. Would have liked more time in Marseille and less time in Cassis.
