Our tour in Marseille was truly one of a kind. We had a fantastic tour guide with a good amount of free time that really left you exploring and getting to know the city.

Had a great time exploring

Nice place but to many hills so took bus tour.

On our own, walked in town.

Because of industrial action in France, although it was supposed to take us to the city centre, the shuttle didn’t actually leave the port. However, we weren’t told this. It wasn’t until we got off the bus that we were told it was a 15 minute walk to the city centre. At $16 it was the most expensive shuttle we’ve ever taken, and we wouldn’t have taken it had we been told it wasn’t going to the City Centre, but would drop us at the port gate where there was only a rubbish market and shopping centre. Lots of people complained on returning to the ship and thankfully the cost was refunded.

Tour guide lacked some discipline so wasted some time in craft shop

Beautiful port but the city was less fancy than Barcelona but still excellent beach views

Took the ship’s transport.. €15 pp. if you disembark the ship there is a free shuttle bus into town .. (walk 5 mins to the gates after disembarking ship)

Tour was good, we broke off when we got to the square to go find lunch and do some shopping. Tour guide very informative and knowledgeable. Be aware of pick pockets and pushy people trying to give you something then wanting money.

We explored the town, the hop on and off tour was ok but not very interesting. We took a boat tour to this prison island and Loved it.
