When we arrived at the dock i Marseille 8 of july the boat Seaside was canselled. We had then travelled from Oslo Norway via Paris a family on 4 personens. We got nothing of information and the msc office ln Sweden was off couse closed. And we allredy payed AP 6000 euro on trip. Disapointed? YES. We can not recomend any one to use this Company.

Loved it here! Recommend doing the hop on and off bus.. however do it independently, royal charged $90 pp and we got it for $90 including transfers for 3 people! Also they offer a shuttle to the town for €20 each which is rip off, can get a free shuttle to town if you walk further down the port for free!! (About a 5 minute walk)

Marseilles is the most dangerous area in France outside of the Parisian suburbs. Take an excursion to the beautiful surrounding cities or villages, but don't go to Marseilles.

The shuttle to town was really cold to wait 45 minutes to board and is pricey. There is a public bus and usually a tourism office bus but not sure I saw those running the day we were there.

Notbad, but not as charming as other places in France. It's a big city and MSC docks waaaaay away fromt he old port so you need a shuttle. Regretted paying for the MSC shuttle as the port gives a free one that was closer than we thought it would be.
