Did the excursion to Monet’s house and garden. Fabulous place with a great lunch at a scenic mill. Finally a tour of Rouen. Great full day.

Very impressed with tour and guide. Had poor impression of French people before, but after seeing them and talking, they are not at all what I thought. I came back with a greater respect for them.

Excursion was rushed with comments of being left behind if we were not back at bus in 20 minutes . Problem with that.... 4 tour buses letting off full budloads of people all lined up at the toilets at the same time. Perhaps they should coordinate their schedules better! Also no little map for passengers when we were let off the bus to walk around by ourselves. Paris a little confusing & we had to locate someone who spoke English to point us back to the area where the buses were parked. Frustrating... a little map sure would have been helpful.

We did the Northbound TA in April, and went to Paris. The bus ride was 6 hours total, so not much of Paris was seen. This time, we took a taxi (50 Euros per couple to Hon Fleur, France. It was a quaint lovely town. I dearly loved it.

We took the ship's tour of the Normandy landing beaches. This cost $219 pp, and was a great tour, but Princess didn't even give us a bottle of water for the day. You'd think that with an all day tour for which they charge you $219, they could at least throw in the water and not charge you for it.

I went to the Louvre and was suppose to stop by the Eiffel tower for photos. The traffic was terrible and we did not stop by Eiffel tower. Paris is too far away to enjoy the excursion. Next time i will do the Normandy excursion.
