We took the bus into the centre and walked and used the trams to get around the area. We. Liked the new shopping district nearby.

If youv never been to Paris before dont miss the opportunity to go now. Even though its an overnighter time is limited, and not nearly long enough. We booked a tour that enabled us to get kind of the golden stuff of Paris done (Eiffel Tower, Sienne River Cruise, and Moulin Rouge). The second day before returning to the ship, we woke very early to get to the Louvre before it was time to return to the ship.

City centre is nice, However we rented a car and went to see Juno beach and Omaha beach ( to see some history facts about WW2 , truly amazing experience)

excursion bought through the cruise was terrible! Was not given the time as promised on the excursion. Paris was one of the place we booked the cruise.

We took the excursion to Rowan, five hours. The only problem was that it was a three hour round trip tour and that left two hours for a tour of the city and free time to explore. Just not a good balance between travel time and tour ad free-time. We had so much time that we purchased a shuttle ticket into LeHave and toured both its modern and old church. The park in front of its grand hotel has a wonderful fountain.
