Not one of our favorite included tours. It was Sunday and raining and we could only see the cathedral from outside because of mass. If the tour had been during the week or Sunday afternoon it would have been better.

We missed this due to the low water but they made it up by letting everyone go to the Czheck Republic excursions for free!

Nice mix of things to do here. The Viking walking tour in the morning was a good orientation, and then we walked around on our own later. Definitely grab a schnitzel and the local kolsch beer. If you, like me, aren’t normally a beer person, this one might surprise you. It’s light and refreshing. The optional excursion to Bruhl was a little underwhelming. Nice palaces, but the history/substance of the tour was not that interesting. Pretty sail-away if you leave in the evening.

Our walking tour guide was excellent another university student who seem to be the best guides in their knowledge and enthusiasm. The Cologne Cathedral is well worth seeing and the shopping around the cathedral was excellent.

Fabulous town to visit. The Cathedral is magnificent. We had a wonderful lunch on our own near the cathedral and sampled their Kolsch beer. Such a fun time!
