We booked an excursion through NCL as this is a tender port. I had heard horror stories about NCL and tendering unless you had an excursion booked. We went to Monaco & Monte Carlo. This was a highlight of the cruise. Getting to see the famous Monte Carlo was amazing. Plus just seeing how the country is built into the side of a mountain was fascinating. Really interesting place to go and if u get the chance I highly recommend it!

Walked to the Cannes Film Festival location, the Château de la Castre and the Église Notre-Dame d'Espérance with the Cannes Sign and panoramic views of Cannes.

Ok, so we didn't do an excursion and we were there during the film festival time but it was just a beautiful place to walk around! I did see so many amazing vehicles!!

Easy to get around, you don't need any tours here. Walk to the old town for scenic views. Bring a towel to hangout on the beach with the locals. On the main street Rue Meynadier there's a Carrefour market as well as few nice bakeries and sandwich shops.

Hired a private driver that took our group to Grasse and then onto Monte Carlo. What an amazing city with beautiful beaches. A martini in the Monte Carlo Casino and Hotel is a must.

Cannes was nice- we enjoyed just walking around, window shopping, had a nice lunch. The view from the grounds of the Musee de la Castre was fabulous- we walked all they way up there- you can take 'The Little Train' if you don't want to do all the walking- though I think you only get a quick 10min stop for pictures- not enough time to do the Musee (which we didn't do anyways- but we heard the view from the very top of the musee was worth the entrance fee)
