Had several bad experiences. Cab driver was an hour late picking us up and wanted to charge us 40 euro to drive less than a mile to a beach. I have him 5 euro and told him to leave. We walked back to the ship. Additionally, my daughter wanted to buy a charm for her Pandora bracelet. We went to the Pandora shop and basically was told since we didn't speak French they didn't want to sell us anything. We were able to communicate every other place we visited but here. We found the people we came into contact to be very unfriendly and rude.

Loved this port last year when we had to tender. This year we were docked so I could take the scooter off. We had a good look around the little local market with its fresh and speciality goods. We then walked on to a beach area and I would have swum but the OH wasn't feeling too well (too much sun I thought) so we just had beachside coffees and a crepe. Love Corsica !

Ajaccio is a beautiful city but there’s not much to do there except eat and shop. Took the little train around town and up to Napoleons Memorial.

Really enjoyed this laid back excursion “Ajaccio Scenic Tour”. Excellent tour guide. Visited Napolean’s monument. Some lovely views. A very busy market was also just a short walk from the ship.

Nice city within walking distance from the port. You can get a map from the tourist center at the port with a suggested walking tour to all historical places.

OMG! Very nice town and the port is a very short walk into town and the town is so very nice and scenic. We took an excursion to Cargese and the Calanches of Piana. Simply stunning! Corsica is a beautiful island.

Took a ship tour, 2 hour walking to see the old city. We had a local food tasting, with a very knowlegable guide. After, we took the little train through town, followed by the hop-on-hop-off bus. Surprisingly inexpensive for Europe.
