The cruise ended here. Instead of going directly to the airport, we took a hotel overnight so that we could spend a day exploring this lovely city.

Favorite destination - we had a beautiful warm day and chose to visit some small towns in the archipelago with a city bus tour of the highlights of Stockholm proper - this was our favorite destination

It's beautiful city with a lot history. For taxi services, don't hop in the first one available. I found out on the last day of my trip that you should at least check for three or more taxi drivers first. The price could vary significantly from one to another.
