We loved this city. It was clean, organized and enjoyable. Be careful of the water taxi. It has its own schedule, not necessarily the one listed. We nearly missed our boat becausee it didn't stop at our pick up location.

The town is gorgeous with lots of history. Gamla Stan (old town) if fun to walk through on your own.

The package tour arranged by NCL was too short (three hours). We had to waste half a day waiting for the departure of the trip. We could've spent those hours in the market place. Next time why can't they plan a trip longer by including one or an hour and half stopping at the market place in the center of the city.

We went straight to the ship from the Airport -- would have liked to have seen some of the city.

Recomend the shuttle versus a taxi - it was expensive for a short ride and the shuttle guarantees the ship will wait. We saw the old town, Vasa Museum and the Skansen. The first two were great - could have skipped Skansen outdoor museum.
